Our painting company’s mission is ambitious: We want to raise painting industry standards by providing you with the highest quality finish and the best painting experience possible.

Our Story

Craig and Tristan both got their first painting experiences in Vancouver, B.C. as young high school students. They remember commuting up to two hours each way to get to job sites all over the Lower Mainland. After many hours on job sites together, they had the idea to start their own painting company.

In 2016, the dream became a reality when Craig and Tristan founded Envision Painting. At first, there were only six painters in the company’s first year. But as time went on, the business grew quickly. Craig and Tristan learned that their roles needed to evolve as the company grew and we started building a team around us.

We are now proud to have up to 35 painters working in their painting company in the Victoria, B.C. area. We have built an excellent reputation and portfolio that includes projects of all shapes and sizes!

After almost ten years of painting and many happy customers, we are happy to officially add carpentry to our list of services. We’re excited about the opportunities and relationships the next few years will offer us.

Meet The Team

Craig Brazier
Co-Founder
Craig has been involved in the painting industry since his high school years and brings more than a decade of experience helping homeowners and businesses improve and protect their properties. In 2016, he partnered with Tristan to establish Envision Painting with a vision of providing Greater Victoria with a professional painting company built on quality workmanship, reliability, and exceptional customer service.
Today, Craig helps guide the company's long-term growth and is committed to ensuring clients receive the attention, care, and professionalism that have become the foundation of Envision Painting's reputation.
Tristan Hulscher
Co-Founder
Tristan began his painting career while attending high school and later operated a student painting franchise while earning his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Victoria. In 2016, he co-founded Envision Painting with the goal of creating a company that delivers exceptional results while making the painting process as smooth and stress-free as possible for clients.
Today, Tristan focuses on business development, estimating, and continuous improvement initiatives that help Envision provide a consistently high level of service. He is passionate about creating outstanding client experiences through professionalism, communication, and attention to detail.
Alex Schaalo
General Manager
Alex plays a central role in the day-to-day operations of Envision Painting and has been an important part of the company's growth for many years. As General Manager, she works closely with clients, painters, and office staff to ensure projects are well organized, communication remains clear, and every detail is managed effectively from start to finish.
Known for her professionalism, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, Alex is dedicated to creating a positive experience for both clients and team members while helping every project run smoothly and successfully.
Rene Padilla
FIELD SUPERVISOR
Rene plays a key role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Envision Painting's high standards. As Field Supervisor, he works closely with painters, foremen, and management to coordinate projects, maintain quality control, and support production teams in the field.
Known for his professionalism, leadership, and positive attitude, Rene is committed to delivering exceptional results while helping create a smooth experience for both clients and team members. His attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement make him an important part of the Envision Painting team.
Outside of work, Rene enjoys dancing and has spent many years sharing his passion by teaching and mentoring others in his community.
Rigoberto Padilla
Field Supervisor
Rigoberto plays an important role in overseeing projects and ensuring work is completed to Envision Painting's high standards. As Field Supervisor, he works closely with painters, foremen, and management to coordinate projects, maintain quality control, and support crews in the field.
Known for his reliability, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail, Rigoberto is committed to helping projects run smoothly while delivering exceptional results for clients. His leadership and hands-on approach help ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and with pride in workmanship.
Outside of work, Rigoberto enjoys tackling mechanical projects and fixing just about anything he can get his hands on. His natural curiosity and technical mindset make him a valuable resource both on and off the job.
Sean McDonald
CLIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Sean is often one of the first people clients speak with when contacting Envision Painting. With more than 16 years of customer service experience, he is committed to providing responsive communication, helpful guidance, and a welcoming experience from the very first interaction.
Whether scheduling consultations, answering questions, or assisting with project coordination, Sean takes pride in helping clients feel informed and supported throughout the painting process.
When he's not assisting clients, Sean enjoys spending time with his wife and young child, travelling, and discovering new wines from around the world.
Kerry Farla
Project Coordinator
Kerry helps bring together all the moving pieces that contribute to a successful painting project. As Project Coordinator, she supports clients and production teams by coordinating schedules, facilitating communication, and ensuring important details are handled efficiently throughout each project.
Her friendly approach, strong organizational skills, and dedication to customer service help create a smooth experience for clients from beginning to end. Kerry takes pride in helping every project stay organized, on schedule, and aligned with the high standards Envision Painting is known for.
Noelyn Ladao
Project Coordinator
Noelyn or Elle is a valued member of the Envision Painting team who helps ensure clients receive exceptional support throughout their painting project. She assists with project coordination, communication, and scheduling, helping keep projects organized and running smoothly.
Clients and team members alike appreciate Noelyn's positive attitude, caring nature, and willingness to go the extra mile to help. Site Foreman

Andrew Comstive
Site Foreman
With over seven years of hands on experience in the painting industry, Andrew brings reliability, precision, and attention to detail to every project. After serving four years in the Canadian Armed Forces, he developed the discipline, teamwork, and commitment to excellence that continue to guide his work today.
As a Site Foreman, Andrew takes pride in delivering high-quality results while ensuring clients have a positive experience throughout the painting process. His professionalism and strong work ethic make him a trusted member of the Envision Painting team.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter, often exploring the outdoors together. Whether hiking, scuba diving, or travelling to new places, he enjoys new adventures and making the most of Vancouver Island's natural beauty.

Will work for treats! If you have a job to do, look no further. Pluto is well trained and has excellent manners on and off the jobsite. He is fluent in dog and is currently enrolled in english classes. His immaculate presentation along with the ability to solve problems effectively (when treats are at stake) creates the perfect experience for our clients!
