Our Process

Our cabinet painting process is designed to be quick, effective, and high-quality:

Professional Prep & Masking: We carefully mask off your kitchen to protect all surfaces. While we do need to occupy your kitchen, our process is efficient to minimise disruption.

Simple Setup: No need to empty your cabinets—just push items back so we can cover them. We re move and paint doors and drawers on-site, either in your garage or preferably an adjacent space if available.

Full containment zone: We use a commercial air extractor with HEPA filters to ensure all dust and airborne particles are captured and safely extracted.

Interior Options: For cabinets with glass doors, we also paint the interior. This adds to the seamless look.

Spray Finish for a Perfect Look: Every cabinet gets one primer coat and two finish coats. This gives a strong, satin or semi-gloss smooth finish.

Eco-Friendly Paints: We use latex-based paints only—no oil-based, no strong smells, and low VOCs—keeping it safe for homes with children and pets.

Cabinet Staining

For a more natural look, we also offer cabinet staining. Staining provides a rich finish, but requires a different process:

Colour Match Staining: We can stain cabinets to match their colour. First, we touch up any faded spots. Then, we apply two clear coats for the best protection.

Changing Colour: Moving from a dark to a lighter stain has some limits. We'll need to strip all old coatings and sand down to bare wood. This process takes longer and needs more prep work. Switching from light to dark is easier. However, keep in mind that any new colour will blend with the existing stain colour.
