We started Envision Painting Company to establish relationships with our customers and provide them and their friends with painting results that everyone can be proud of. With the addition of Kris and Heidi in 2017, our painting company improved its ability to serve you and the rest of our customers with the highest degree of care and attention.

Our Story

As young high school students, Craig and Tristan both got their first painting experiences in Vancouver. They remember commuting up to two hours each way to get to job sites all over the lower mainland. In the countless hours working on sites together, they came up with the idea of starting their own painting company together one day.

In 2016, the dream became a reality when Craig and Tristan founded Envision Painting. At first, it was a pretty small operation with only six painters in their inaugural year but quickly grew as the years progressed, and both Craig and Tristan became more familiar with the intricacies of running a business.

We are now proud to have up to 35 painters working in our painting company victoria. We have built an excellent reputation and portfolio that includes various job types and building styles.

  • Craig Brazier

    Craig Brazier

    OWNER

    Craig started painting in high school and then began a student painting franchise while in university. Craig partnered with Tristan in 2016, and Envision Painting Company was founded to offer the best professional painting services in Victoria.

    Tristan Hulscher

    OWNER

    Tristan first started painting with Craig when he was 14 during the summers of high school. During his time at Uvic he ran a student painting franchise while he completed his B.A in Economics. Tristan is passionate about providing quality workmanship and customer service to all our clients.

    FIELD COORDINATOR

    Kris is hardworking and industrious. He is great at working with his hands and is talented at prioritizing and scheduling site pickups and deliveries. He keeps all our tools in good working condition and the crews working diligently. When not at work Kris is an avid soccer player.

He is an effective manager who is capable of managing multiple crews and delivering exceptional results. Nathan is originally from Toronto and moved to BC in 2020 for the outdoor lifestyle.

    Will work for treats! If you have a job to do, look no further. Pluto is well trained and has excellent manners on and off the jobsite. He is fluent in dog and is currently enrolled in english classes. His immaculate presentation along with the ability to solve problems effectively (when treats are at stake) creates the perfect experience for our clients!

Service FAQ

If you're unsure about your colour choice, our estimator can leave a sample booklet for you to browse. We often suggest our clients check out a free resource at our home paint store. It’s Dulux Paints at 1581 Hillside Ave. Bringing in pictures of your project can really help. We can also suggest colour consultants or talk about getting a digital image with the colour changes.

If we're painting indoors or need access to a locked area, the client should be there at the start of the day to let us in. Alternative arrangements can always be made in advance to hand off keys if desired. We also need to have interior access if we are painting exterior doors. Other than that, there is no requirement for you to be there throughout the project if you'd prefer not to.

Please call our office at 250 813 2530 between 8:30 and 4:30 Mon to Friday.  We will work to find a way to accommodate your schedule.

Meeting with our clients is key. This lets us ask and answer questions. As a result, we can create a detailed and complete proposal. The time it takes depends on the project's difficulty and size. Usually, a typical quote takes 1 to 2 hours. This includes time for a walk-through at the start and a presentation at the end.

Yes, we carry comprehensive liability insurance as well as the necessary WCB coverage.  We have an A+ rating with the BBB.

We have a 3-year warranty on most surfaces.

Our warranty covers all labour and materials necessary to fix any possible problems that may arise. We also provide full worker’s compensation coverage, and 3 million liability insurance.

*Warranty excludes: all walked on surfaces, exposed metal, customer supplied paint, moisture damage, cracks in drywall, rotten surfaces, fences and railings. Any work we weren’t paid in full, any work other contractors were involved in, unforeseeable problems resulting from previous paint failures, factory finish areas, wooden gutters and roofs.

As soon as you book your job, our Project Coordinator, Hans, will be your main point of contact. You will also have a dedicated on site Foreman as well as a Field Supervisor

  • Hans (Project Coordinator):
    • Will call you once you book to go over your project and get you scheduled!
    • Your go-to for questions or con cerns.
    • Provides support, change orders, progress updates and invoicing.
  • Rene (Field Supervisor):
    • Conducts on-site quality inspections and ensures safety on site.
  • Foreman
    • On site for the whole duration of your project.
    • Available for any questions or concerns
