The Position

This is a management position that has the power and ability to directly impact the success and future of Envision Painting. As the Project Manager you will be our infield production representative. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all jobs come in on budget and on schedule. You will be visiting job sites to make sure all crews are adhering to the work order and our quality and safety standards. You will also be responsible for client check ins when on site and completing any needed touch ups or finishing jobs. The Project Manager works with all departments but hand in hand with the Production Manager and Field Coordinator.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to

Production

  • Getting Jobs started, orienting new painters & foreman onsite, final walk through with clients.
  • Supporting teams, clients and making sure projects run smoothly.
  • Work with teams, finish jobs when needed and complete touch ups and warranty work.
  • Work with foremen on iPads and admin systems, daily updates and safety documents.
  • Ensuring systems are being followed on site by all crews.
  • Problem solving challenging access and application issues as they arise on sites.
  • Performance quality assessments of all crews.
  • Support all staff and clients to allow for successful job closes.
  • Perform final walk around with crews and clients.
  • Hold staff accountable for delivering quality work on budget.
  • Manage team morale.
  • Meet with clients for touch ups/warranty work.
  • Quality inspections throughout the job.

Safety

  • Train employees on proper safety procedures.
  • Ensure all foremen are following proper safety procedures on site.
  • Safety meetings with staff.

Administrative

  • Work with the Production Manager to update the production schedule on a daily basis.
  • Approve on site staff hours every payroll (weekly on Monday’s).
  • Fill out proper paperwork to document touch ups/warranty work.
  • Proper use of Slack for communication amongst management.

Client Care

  • Check in and support clients.
  • Upsell clients throughout the job.

Role Requirements

  • Track record of successful management - Provide experience.
  • Experience in painting, trades and construction site management.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements on residential and commercial work sites.
  • Proactive problem solver that can manage difficult situations and close jobs.
  • Ability to manage multiple personalities in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Construction and ladder experience is an asset as you will need to close jobs and do touch ups.
